I am thrilled that you have found your way here to Book Zone Reviews–the place to discover inspiring reads for toddlers, kids, tweens, and teens. I am also excited that you are considering requesting a review.
Below you will find my interests and formats I accept. You will also find the link to my review request page. Please read my preferences before submitting your book.
Books I Review:
- Baby/Toddler’s Books – (0-3)
- Children’s Books – (4-8)
- Middle Grade Books – (9-12)
- Young Adult Books – (13-17) (clean: no cursing, premarital sex, etc., it may include bad situations as long as they are not glorified and redemptive change is seen by the end of the book.)
What I Will Not Review:
Anything not listed above, or any books within those categories which include magic, paranormal leanings, atheistic viewpoints, foul language, hate, or abuse of any kind, unless the abuse is used as a contrast to show a triumphant ending.
Formats accepted:
I accept e-books (Kindle format .epub or pdf), audio books, or paperbacks.
Review Schedule:
I review books as I receive them. The first book I received is the first book that I will read. Who am I kidding? I am a mood reader, and I work full-time. I am currently working with a four-month waiting period. The exceptions to this are blog tours and new releases direct from Publishers via Book Sirens/Net Galley that I have already committed to reviewing in a month. Don’t worry, I am still using my trusty spreadsheet, which I love. (I’m working my way around to writing a post reviewing all that I have tried.)
About My Reviews:
Despite the method of acquiring the book, you can be assured that I, as a writer myself, respect the time, persistence, and heart put into crafting your masterpiece, and I will treat it gently. The lowest rating you will see on my sites is 3 stars. Not because there are books that don’t rate lower, however, I advise authors beforehand that I find it hard to give it a high rating, and give them the option to have it posted or not.
The review of your book will also be cross-posted on one of the following sites: Amazon, Bookbub, Christian Book, Goodreads, or The Storygraph.

If you would like me to review a book, please submit via my review request page, fill it out thoroughly, and please add an email address. That is very important so that you will know whether I have accepted or denied your review request. It is frustrating to want to review a great book and have no way to contact the author.
Unfortunately, not every book will be to my taste; I reserve the right to decline certain review requests or to refuse to finish a book. In addition, I’m not a fan of rating a book lower than 3 stars. If your book falls into that category, I will contact you directly.
