Why I Created This Guide
I've always believed that the books children read matter.
Books can expand their vocabulary, introduce them to new experiences, help them see themselves and others more clearly, and spark conversations that continue long after the final page.
As a mother, reader, and longtime book reviewer, I know how important it is to help children discover books that are appropriate for their ages, reflect a variety of experiences, and encourage a lifelong love of reading.

While our main recommendations have already been carefully selected, we're accepting a limited number of additional titles for possible inclusion in a special discovery section.
